Reverse Logistics

Returns processing, repairs and refurbishment

Reverse logistics is usually thought of as the final link in the supply chain. This encompasses all the activities associated with a product returned from store or from customers including device repair, reconditioning and green disposal. As product returns are often a drain on profits, we provide many tools to minimise returns in addition to reverse logistics. We have robust returns processing capabilities to reduce both the direct and indirect cost of reverse logistics and to minimise environmental impact.

These capabilities include return to manufacturer, on-site and off-site product repair, and end-of-life disposal. Our IMEI tracking and virtual warehousing facilities support close integration with clients’ systems and provide complete control over the process.

20:20mobile operates a repair service registered by BSI in accordance with ISO standards, registered and approved under EU/UK legislation for compliance to WEEE standards for disposal of electronic waste products.

Handset recycling

20:20mobile provides an online mobile phone recycling service, which offers competitive prices to consumers for the return of both working and non-working handsets. We ensure any previous data on the handset is deleted rendering it unavailable to potential abuse. Refurbished phones can then be deployed to markets in the developing world or used as replacement devices in the insurance cycle.

Our recycling service is available to web sellers via a white label site. This can then be branded and incorporated into a customer’s online presence, producing a valuable revenue stream and strengthening a brand’s commitment to an environmental agenda.
