This makes it a constant challenge to stay up-to-date with the latest handsets and the complexity of mobile accessories is even more intricate. With this in mind, knowing what products to stock is a constant dilemma for retailers.
To overcome this challenge, 20:20mobile developed its Insight programme. Insight turns range planning into an exact science and dramatically improves retail performance. Using Insight we can match products according to features and positioning to specific customers demographic profiles. This means we are able to supply the correct products to our clients based on their customers profile, the retail chain and location.
Insight is based on a combination of proprietary and published market research, combined with detailed knowledge of products, technologies and product roadmaps. The programme has proven to deliver at minimum a 15% uplift in retail performance.
Product packaging and collateral
Product packaging is a fundamental factor in retail success, it communicates key messages to the consumer through printed words and images and conveys implicit messages about value, quality, and environmental awareness. The design of packaging affects transportation costs, handling efficiency and utilisation of shelf or hanging space in store and can be used to bundle products creating new propositions or to display products to their best advantage.
At 20:20mobile, we have expertise in the design and delivery of product packaging and other printed collateral for our clients. We are practiced in working within strict brand guidelines and to short time frames and we have a strong commitment to the use of recycled and recyclable materials, to minimise the environmental impact of discarded packaging. Repacking of products is a standard process in our distribution centres, so we can quickly make products retail-ready according to the day-to-day needs of our clients.
Many of our clients take advantage of our in-house design services to develop innovative and practical ideas for the storage and display of retail merchandise and point of sale materials. We are able to turn around small and large batches rapidly, making inventory available for sale with the minimum delay.
Campaign management
In addition to the monthly calendar of handset bundles and tariffs, retailers use seasonal events and exclusive offers to generate store traffic and energise sales.
Many of our clients depend on our in-house marketing services to manage campaigns, and obtain funding from product vendors. 20:20mobile’s marketing services include the development and delivery of advertising, posters, point of sale materials, brochures, display units, catalogues, inserts and product packaging. We also design and run sales training and motivation activities, customer events and trade show participation.
